Co-development
Device for measuring inclination.
It is used to determine the curvature angle of a borehole. The purpose is to monitor the spatial trajectory of the well, determine its deviation angle from the horizontal plane, and measure the degree of borehole deviation toward the wellhead.
The main component is a measuring probe. It is lowered into and retrieved from the borehole while performing measurements at specific depths, calculated from the wellhead (the uppermost reference point).
Gyroscopic type — used in boreholes equipped with special metal casing. Inside the steel housing are two gyroscopic sensors, each responsible for measuring its respective angular component.
During horizontal or vertical displacement, the inclinometer probe records changes in incremental deviation angles relative to the vertical or horizontal axis over its baseline distance.

By integrating the measured angular function of the probe, it is possible to obtain the function of horizontal (or vertical) ground mass displacements as a function of depth.

Depending on the instrument type, inclinometric data may be recorded and stored on film or in computer memory under downhole conditions, or transmitted to the surface in real time.
